Business Leadership Program
The Business Leadership Program presents forums for business owners and leaders to regularly meet with like-minded peers to securely exchange ideas and information, enabling each member to lead their business more effectively.
Half-day meetings comprising of up to 15 members drawn from non-competing and diverse industries are conducted each month in a confidential environment which is facilitated by Andrew Dalziel, an independent, highly-experienced and empathetic Chairman.
Participation in the Business Leadership Program empowers members to make balanced decisions and be a catalyst for change.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The program for each meeting is dynamic and flexible - reflecting and responding to members' needs. The knowledge exchange arises from two sources:
- specialist resource speaker sessions
- members' own business context and experiences
The diversity around the meeting table provides varied perspectives and ideas to unlock solutions for commonly-experienced challenges.
A TYPICAL MEETING INCLUDES --
- discussion on current business wins, losses and challenges
- member-led conversations on relevant business issues and ideas
- an interactive session on a business topic guided by a specialist resource speaker
Each year in lieu of the standard meeting up to two site visits to members' businesses take place, offering in-depth insights into a range of business models, workplace environments and industry practices.
Whenever possible, additional member events are scheduled throughout the year for networking and knowledge-sharing.
"... Andrew has provided a much needed vehicle for local businesspeople in our region. The high-calibre of speakers and shared knowledge between local business people continues to provide motivation and inspiration to me. As a result of the knowledge learned there is no doubt I have been able to enhance the professionalism of my business."
